SMA Vehicle Remarketing
Birmingham Nears Completion
The eagerly awaited new SMA Vehicle Remarketing
auction centre in Birmingham is nearing completion, providing
buyers and sellers right across the Midland with a new state of the
art auction facility.
In a year when a shortage of used cars is forecast, dealers and
vendors right across the Midlands can look forward to welcoming the
all new SMA Auction Centre which is on schedule to open in
March. The Centre provides buyers and sellers with a modern
purpose-built and easily accessible opportunity to buy and sell
cars, and much more!
"We have planned the launch of this new Centre very
carefully" Notes SMA Vehicle Remarketing Group Managing
Director Bob Anderson. "We have combined our many years of
experience in vehicle remarketing, with research across the local
dealer and vendor communities and overlaid this with forward
thinking to future proof the development as far as we
can!"
From the outset the aim for the project team was to create the
very best auction centre, in terms of location, facilities, and
customer experience. Location was the fundamental building
block in the creation of the centre. Minutes from the M6,
near Walsall SMA Vehicle Remarketing, Birmingham is easily
accessible from both north and south of Birmingham. As
a result, a significant number of customers can experience the SMA
difference for the first time as the business' rapid expansion
moves further south.
The exterior of the purpose designed building is now largely
complete, and work is now progressing rapidly on the internal
fit-out. The Centre has been designed to make the most of
modern technology, which will feature across the site.
Innovation is not limited to technology; the site will offer a
quiet room, comfortable catering facilities and training/meeting
rooms. The team at SMA want the Centre to be a place where
customers can buy/sell work and meet one another in comfort.
Reflecting the growing importance of preparation to ensure
showroom ready cars are available, SMA has developed a Technical
Services Centre at the site. This now being fully equipped
with spray booth and all the technology required to ensure high
quality refurbishment can be completed pre or post sale, for
vendors or buyers.
Importantly recruitment is now complete and training is underway
to ensure not only the delivery of the core services, but the high
level of service for which the SMA business is renowned. The
next step in the recruitment process is the development of
relationships with both vendors and buyers, and this is developing
apace
