SMA Vehicle Remarketing Birmingham Launches

Vehicle buyers and vendors right across the Midlands now have access to a fresh, all-new auction and remarketing facility just minutes from M6 J10, with the opening of SMA Vehicle Remarketing's new Birmingham Auction Centre.

Modern, spacious, comfortable and built around the needs of vehicle buyers and sellers, the new centre is substantial covering 8.5 acres.   The space has been imaginatively designed to provide a Dual rostrum hall, with all-round monitors offering real-time information on vehicles as they move through the auction, but beyond this core function, the new complex offers much more.

Service has been core to the philosophy that has guided the development of Birmingham.  Modelling training around the type of total experience that is commonly found in premium hotels, a service ethic from start to finish has been designed to meet the customer needs.

Physically, the new Auction complex has been built and even located with the customer in mind.  Minutes from the M6, SMA Vehicle Remarketing, Birmingham is easily accessible from both north and south of Birmingham, widening the appeal to all parties.  Easily located, the parking and storage facilities are both extensive and secure, with just one entrance providing the very best security option.

Facilities on site in the purpose-built auction centre include heated dual lane auction hall, a customer lounge area, meeting facilities, high quality cafeteria and WI-Fi throughout.  The goal was to create comfortable space where people can buy, sell and work with ease.

Reflecting the growing importance of vehicle preparation to ensure showroom ready cars are available fast, SMA has developed a Technical Services Centre at the site.  This fully equipped operation is staffed with trained technicians ready to undertake body and mechanical work with a state-of-the-art spray booth and all the technology required to ensure high quality refurbishment can be completed pre or post sale, for vendors or buyers.  The centre can also accommodate vehicle de-fleet, PDI and in life repairs.

A special trade preview event is planned to introduce vendors and buyers to the new facility and to provide them with an opportunity to meet the SMA team.

The first auction is planned for Wednesday 20^th April 2011 and activity will be steadily 'ramped up' in a controlled manner to ensure that the service experience is delivered effectively.
