SMA and Children in Need

Children in Need is a charity that has become close to the heart of the team at SMA Vehicle Remarketing and this year the team succeeded in raising over £1000 for the organisation at its latest charity auction.

At SMA's Edinburgh Centre all attention was focused on auctioneer 'Colonel' Stephanie Sneddon as everything came to a halt and all attention was focused upon the charity auction for a Vauxhall Corsa on Thursday November 17th.

On a particularly busy evening, bidding was brisk with Stephanie delivering her trademark auctioneering calls to entertain and engage the bidders and spectators alike.  At the end of the sale, E3 Cars of Kincardine won the day with a bid of £1050.

Every penny was donated to Children in Need.  Commenting on the success; SMA Group Managing Director Bob Anderson noted; "We are always happy to help Children in Need and I'm proud that so many of our customers got involved, with particular thanks to Peter Vardy for supplying the car and our own team for making the event such a success".

Our grading system is changing

NAMA grading has been developed to provide a long awaited industry standard grading scheme to be used across all auctions within the UK.

We have now introduced NAMA grading across our sites, and over the coming weeks you will notice more vehicles being offered for sale displaying a NAMA grade. These grades are easy to identify as they are 1,2,3,4,5 and U in place of the SMA grades A,B,C,D and E.

Please make sure you have familiarised yourself with the grades. We will still produce condition reports providing additional information for each vehicle as we always have.
