experienced motor vehicle auctioneers to join us. We want to hear
from experienced professionals, with a proven track record in
selling cars, LCV's, HGV's and plant equipment, on behalf of a
variety of vendors. The successful candidate wil be
responsible to the Branch Manager and will be joining the team that
was voted the UK's best independent vehicle remarketing company. We

Centres cover the whole of the UK with dedicated sales for cars,
light and heavy commercial vehicles and plant. Due to
continued expansion an opportunity has arisen within SMA Vehicle
Remarketing for a Business Development Manager to join the
successful team.
Based at the state-of-the-art purpose built vehicle auction
complex located in Birmingham, the successful candidate will be
responsible for managing key customer accounts. You will have
proven sales success, excellent presentation skills and good
knowledge of the automotive industry, you will be responsible for
managing your own area and will require to be self motivated and
able to prospect and network using your own initiative.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- To promote a helpful and professional image to the
customer
- Attending to customer queries and enquiries in a positive and
helpful manner
- To anticipate customer needs maintaining the high standard of
service and enhancing customer loyalty
- Sourcing new business and managing current customer
accounts
- Driving continued company growth by maximising sale
results
- Effective customer communication and maintaining a positive
rapport with both existing and new customers.
- Ensure a high standard and accurate daily reports are completed
and delivered to the Line Manager.
- Financial awareness of company objectives and budgets.
- Regularly analyse data to determine efficiency of Group sales
and opportunities.
- Develop on-going strategies to maximise business throughout the
Group.
- Implement sales initiatives and promotions
- Other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
